Flashback Mix 2-27-14: Erykah Badu

So 2-26-14 was Erykah Badu’s Birthday. Dominique called me and let me know that I was slipping because I didn’t make an Erykah Badu mix. So I said I will make one right now so it can play Thursday. I played 2 Erykah Badu songs on Tuesday just because I was feeling that vibe. But here you go, 27 minutes of Badu. I love Erykah Badu’s music. Honey is one of my favorite songs of all time.

As the sun rises on Oakland…Just downloaded Serato DJ. New program to master. Woke up early to knock out these Flashback Mixes. According to certain celebrity birthday sites, Juelz Santana & Dr. Dre share the same birthday (February 18th). Monday I rocked all Juelz Santana & Tuesday I played all Dr. Dre.

Last night we were in Philly (my home town). We performed at a sneaker boutique called Qbiq, courtesy of Converse. I wish someone would have told me it was a Converse event, I would have rocked my Chuck Taylor’s.
